Our communities are rooted in trusting, supportive relationships.

These guidelines show what behavior does and doesn’t support other members in our Pod chats and in-person events. If you violate these guidelines, you may be asked to leave ParentPod.

We love to see:

  • We understand that parenting involves difficult conversations. We ask that you stay respectful in your tone and words, even if you have a differing opinion. We often can learn the most from those who think differently than us!

  • Parenting comes in many forms. Our community welcomes all identities and worldviews. Having a diverse community helps us all grow in our own parenting identities.

  • Kindness is the foundation of our Pods. We are all here to offer support during one of the most challenging times of a person’s life. Just like your mama said, treat others the way you would like to be treated.

  • Showing up as you are is the best way to show up. Our community values meeting everyone exactly where they are. Your struggles and wins will help the next person, so be honest and real.

We do not allow:

  • We have a zero-tolerance policy for anything that contains hate speech. This includes (but is not limited to) content that attacks, threatens, incites violence against, or otherwise dehumanizes an individual or group across race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity, age, or socioeconomic status.

  • We do not tolerate anyone being shamed, bullied, or harassed. This can come in many forms, such as making threats or releasing personally information to sending repeated unwanted messages.

  • While we value open conversations, we do not support the sharing of misinformation, such as conspiracy theories. If you have something to share, particularly regarding health & wellness, please be sure your information is rooted in fact & research.

  • There is no place for the sharing or proliferation of illegal activities on our platform. This includes, but is not limited to, theft, exploitation, and illicit drug use.

  • Please only show up in our space if you are showing up as yourself. Do not falsely send pictures or create an identity that is not you.

  • Our platform is a space to share your personal successes, but it is not a place to recruit others to join your team. In particular, recruiting as part of an incentive sales program or any content promoting or recruiting for multi-level marketing schemes.

  • You may not use our platform or events to post, upload, share, or otherwise distribute content that is graphically violent or obscene, sexually explicit, promotes self-harm, promotes terrorist activity, or otherwise poses a threat to the public.
